Join us for a meaningful evening of Women Inspiring Leadership & Learning where we will hear from Renée Boheme, the executive director of Corrie's House, whose vision is for every victim/survivor of sexual exploitation to have the opportunity to access the transformative care for recovery and healing.
During the event, we'll be assembling shower caddies with personal care products and other needed supplies that will be needed for their residence. In order to cover some of the expense for these supplies, we have increased our normal event fee by $10. Thank you in advance for helping us support their mission.
CORRIE'S HOUSE MISSION:We are opening a long-term, residential program with transformative care for young survivors, ages 12-17, who've experienced sex trafficking and exploitation. Our home will offer a safe place that is trauma-informed, victim-centered, strengths-based, culturally responsive, and free from judgment.Participants will have access to individual and group therapy, case management, education advancement, life skills, healthy relationships, and employment support that empowers them to succeed and with renewed hope for a life free from exploitation
Renée has long felt a calling to make a difference for vulnerable children who are being exploited. This led her to Corrie’s House in November 2022, serving first as a board member, then as Board Chair, and now serving as the Executive Director. Prior to joining Corrie’s House, Renée served for 25 years in the medical technology field in small, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies, to include Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation, and Spectranetics. Renée served in multiple areas of management and executive leadership in commercial operations to bring new therapies and medical technologies into highly specialized and fast growing markets of cardiology and electrophysiology. She served six years on a 4,000-member church council, the last two years as Council President. Renée received her B.S from Towson University in Mass Communication and an M.B.A. From University of Baltimore.Images
