Zach has been working in the coffee industry since the summer of 2008. Starting first as a barista, Zach worked through the roles of roaster, store manager, and lead barista for national and local companies. His intention is to create extraordinary experiences for guests using next level customer service, applying industry standards to coffee brewing and espresso technique, and incorporating culinary and bartender influences to create exquisite drinks. 

Sara has been working in small business management since the Spring of 2009. Her attention to detail has helped drive Edina Coffee Roasters since launching. Prior to launching, Sara designed the look and feel of the branding, knowing full well that rushing into roasting without investing in the overall look of the brand was not a good strategy. Roasting isn’t enough. People eat with their eyes first - therefore, the look of the brand is very important. After launching, Sara has invested in developing meaningful connections with the community and vendors across the state.
